About CAD & engineering
Is my STEP file uploaded for conversion?
No. STEP processing happens on your iPhone. Download the source file from cloud storage first if you want to open it offline. Creating a share link is a separate online action that uploads the presentation package
Can I edit the original CAD model?
Core 3D Viewer is for viewing and presentation. Make geometry changes in your CAD software; the app does not edit the model's original features or parametric history
Can I add dimensions to my model?
Yes, with Pro. Dimensions snap to the imported geometry and appear in the regular viewer and browser presentation. Confirm the model's physical scale before relying on measurements. You can try the tools on the included demo models
Who can open my share link?
Anyone with the link can view the read-only presentation without an app or account. The link works until it expires or you delete it. See Free & Pro for current sharing limits
